Eikö sinulla ole varaa tai aikaa matkustaa lomalla eksoottisiin kohteisiin? Haluatko nähdä maailman sellaisena kuin et ole sitä ennen nähnyt? Haluatko tulla ulos leikkimään tai viettää yön toisessa todellisuudessa?
Walkabout on teatterin, performanssin, experimancen ja live-roolipelin keinoja käyttävä yön yli kestävä peli. Sen pelikenttä on Helsinki ja todellisuuden ja fiktion, pelin tai esityksen rajapinta. Osallistumisen tapa riippuu osallistujasta itsestään - voit kokea, antautua vietäväksi tai osallistua tapahtumiin ja luoda uutta sen mukaan miltä sinusta tuntuu. Odotamme vain, että tulet omana itsenäsi ja olet valmis näkemään maailman uudella tavalla.
Wishing you were somewhere exotic, but can't afford the ticket or the time? Do you want to see the world as you've never seen it before? Would you, yes you, like to come out and play... spending a night in another reality?
It's theatre! It's performance! It's experimance! It's LARP! Whatever it is, we call it Walkabout. The playing fields are the territory of the soul, the so-called "reality" of Helsinki, and one pure fiction, somewhere between game and show. What you see and what you get all depends on you: whether you choose to experience, influence, or just watch Walkabout go by, you're sure to be a part of it. All we desire is that you come as you are. Your innermost self, as revealed in a wicked pack of cards, is part of the play.

Sleep is an essential part of Walkabout. We will not deprive you of sleep—or food, or good company! When reserving your ticket, please give us your phone number, mailing address, and any food allergies/requirements you may have. Tickets must be reserved and paid for in advance. Important information will be sent to your home about what to bring with you... and what to leave behind.

Teatteri Naamio ja Höyhen vuokraa tilaansa harjoituskäyttöön. Vapaita aikoja vaihtelevasti.
Tilan kuvaus:
Paikan koko yhteensä 150m2. Yhtenäisen harjoitussalin koko n. 50 m2. Harjoitussalissa betonilattia, jolla tanssimattoa. Vino katto, keskimääräinen korkeus n. 2,7 metriä. Tilassa äänentoistolaitteet (MD, CD, mikseri, kaiuttimet). Keittiö, WC ja suihku löytyvät myös.

Rehearsal space for rent
The theatre space at Teatteri Naamio ja Höyhen is currently available to rent for rehearsals.
What's it like?
The whole space is about 150m2, with the rehearsal space itself at about 50 m2. The floor is concrete, covered with a dance floor. The average ceiling height is 2,7m. Sound equipment (MD, CD, mixer, speakers) is available. There's also a kitchen, WC, and shower.
