MY KORATS

I got my first Korat in 1991 and have been a lover of the breed since. I have always liked males and I have five generations of Korat males. My first female came from Denmark in 1994. My cats are mostly pets and I breed only occasionally. I also keep studs that have been used by other breeders.

"Kuppeli" is DanDan's son. He had several litters in Finland and one in Denmark. He is now neutered and lives with my parents. Kuppeli has diabetes since 2007, but recovered completely. "Ykä" is my own breeding and he just decided to stay home. He keeps company to Kaaleppi. They are best friends, but Ykä is definitely the boss. He was shown as a neuter and was the best neuter Korat in Finland 1997. He loved to play in his cage and was very easy to judge.

"Kaaleppi" has been my show star. He was best Korat adult in Finland 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002. He also did well in the neuter and veteran classes. He is Kuppeli's son and I fell in love with him when he was three weeks old. He had quite a few litters both in Finland and abroad. Kaaleppi is now retired from showing. "Miina" was from my second Korat litter. I had one litter with her. She did not like showing, but was otherwise a very sweet and easy-to-handle little lady.
