Ariel is of Castello's own breeding and in
the course of years she's become a fine riding horse. The mare still has quite
an amount of "girly gestures" as well in the manege as the stable even if
her temperament has somewhat smoothened as she has got older. Ariel's smart
to groom, but likes now and then to threaten people when brushed or saddled.
When ridden she sometimes takes offence and in the midst of all she prefers
just standing and flattening her ears to moving forward.
Except for her "mare moments" Ariel is a fine
mount; sensitive, forward-going and obedient. Nowadays she already goes to
all levels of riding lessons but she's especially popular among the more
experienced riders. Ariel jumps particularly well and is a nice dressage
horse too. When hacking she has previously been rather hot-tempered to ride
but suits nowadays also for the less experienced.
