Below are three comparison screen capture images in order to illustrate correct and incorrect results.

The topmost image (the screen capture is from Mozilla 1.1a for Windows, but I have fixed it so that it should show the expected correct result). MS IE 6.0 for Windows, Opera 6.04 for Windows and Mozilla 1.1a render widths and height values at 1-2 pixel accuracy at the same way except form control elements. Concerning the widths of the form control elements in the main menu there is together six pixel wide difference between Opera 6.04/ Mozilla 1.1a and MS IE 6.0 for Windows.

The lower image (the screen capture has been taken from MS IE 6.0 for Windows). Opera 6.04 showed only high opening links on the ultimate left. Mozilla 1.1a behaves at the same way as Opera except that it leaves vertical space between images.

The lowest image (the screen capture has been taken with Mozilla 1.1a for Windows without any kinds of fixes). Mozilla renders values of line-height and/or height properties in the main table cells (they have links Yleisiä - Muut sivustot) too high. The main menu is overall too high.

This page shows the following problem in Mozilla 1.1a (Build ID 2002061104), which concerns the width property ([Bug 156851]):

The width values in the main menu are in certain conditions too wide in Mozilla 1.1a. Arrow links on the right are not necessary totally visible (the browser cuts ultimate right parts of them; according to an e-mail from a developer of Mozilla the bug will be fixed and the fix will be appear in some future versions of Mozilla 1.x). Opera 6.04 seems to behave different way incorrectly. In my mind width values in the main menu are in certain conditions too narrow.

This page shows the following problem in Mozilla 1.1a (Build ID 2002061104), which concerns height and line-height properties:

Line height and height values in the main menu (line-height:15px; height:15px) are too high ) in Mozilla 1.1a with the tested build (it renders the the height of table cells as 17px, which can be seen comparing the lowest screen capture image to the topmost screen capture image (according to an e-mail this problem is not in some newer builds of Mozilla). In addition of previous mentioned matter below the link Muut sivustot should not be yellow padding. The center of the arrows on the right in the main menu should point exactly to the center of the round round images in the left sides of sub-menus. By setting in the nature pages for the main table cells and main links line-height:12px; height:14px I got the result almost the same as in Opera and MS IE. According to some e-mails from a developer of Mozilla this bug has been fixed in newer builds of Mozilla.

This page shows the following problem in Mozilla 1.1a (Build ID 2002061104), which concerns presumably the margin property:

On the ultimate left are two narrow links. The lower link on the left has unnecessary vertical space above the image in Mozilla 1.1a. I got it off by defining the line-height property (for example line-height:0) but I don't understand why this property is needed in this situation.

This page shows following problems in Mozilla 1.1a (Build ID 2002061104) and Opera 6.04, which concerns the visibility property:

Mozilla 1.1a and Opera 6.04 hide visibility:visible defined descendants of a visibility:hidden ancestor element. If the menu on top-left will be closed the browser should show four link arrows like MS IE 6.0 for Windows does (this problem is not in most pages, but only in this test page and few other pages). Opera works always incorrectly.

Concerning Mozilla the visibility problem seems to be related with position:fixed. Because descendants of fixed positioned elements are also fixed I don't see any proper reason, why descendants of fixed positioned elements are exceptions. Below are two examples, which illustrate that visibility:hidden + visibility:visible work in ordinary situations - in practise all situation, where they work also with MS IE 6.0 for Windows.

  1. After this text should be the text This text should be visible inside a DIV + two nested SPAN elements with bold red characters (I put borders around the text in order to show, where the text should be:

    This text should be visible
  2. After this text should be a table cell (an element TD), which has the text This text should be visible with bold red characters:

    This text should be visible

This page shows the following problems in Mozilla 1.1a (Build ID 2002061104), which concerns the BUTTON element:

The text-align property doesn't work in. Inside the text Sivukartta or in the special test page A button is a BUTTON element, which should be aligned at the same way as other elements in the same block. Look at the screen capture image what is the expected result.
