Born 30.11.1966 in Helsinki. Lives in London, Helsinki and in Meilen Swizerland since 1999. Married since 1999 to Noriko (J). Father Seppo Salo.

1989 Formula 3 class in England in the team of Alan Docking. Car Reynard 893 Alfa Romeo. 13. place in series.  Best result fifth. Fifth in Super Prix race Brands Hatch.

1990 Formula 3 class in England in the team of Alan Docking. Car Ralt RT 34 Mugen Honda. Runner up in british championship after Mika Hakkinen. Six wins. Five seconds places. Runner up in Macau F 3 race.

1991 F 3000 class in Japan. Lola car of AD Racing Team. 23. place in series.

1992 F 3000 class in Japan. Reynard 92 D Mugen  car of AD Racing Team. 15. in series. F 3 class in Japan with Ralt RT 35 Mugen Honda car.

1993 F 3000 class in Japan. Lola T 93/50 Mugen car of AD Racing Team.

1994 Formula 1 class in Lotus Mugen Honda team with Zanardi. No points. F 3000 class in Japan with Lola T 93/50 Cosworth car. Seventh in championship. One third place.

1995 Formula 1 class in Tyrrell Yamaha team with Katayama. 14. in championship. Raceweight in Rio 71 kg.

1996 Formula 1 class in Tyrrell Yamaha team with Katayama. 13. in championship.  Raceweight in Melbourne 73,5 kg. F K Third in Bercy, Paris indoor race.
